Hey there, A money topic that is often overlooked is the development of an unhealthy relationship with money which can start from a very young age. I'll admit that I used to have a very unhealthy relationship with money. I was always worrying about it, thinking about it, and afraid that I would never have enough. If I ever made a mistake with money (which everyone does!) I would be very hard on myself. I was stingy and always pinching pennies, which led to strained personal relationships in my life. A book that really helped me with developing a healthier relationship with money is called "Happy Money" by Ken Honda, and it's made me more at peace with how I feel about money. Don't get me wrong, I still highly value earning money and using it to better the lives of myself and those I care about, but I've become more conscious of the fact that instead of letting money control me, I control it. What are your thoughts on this? Do you control your money, or does it control you?
